The flange tank connector is supplied with self-tapping stainless steel screw, the self-tapping screw can be used with a tank/liner thickness of up to 5mm. however if the Tank/Liner you want to join the flange tank connector to, is thicker. We have the solution.
The Flange Extension Kit consists of 6 stainless steel bolts, locking nuts, and 12 stainless steel washers. The different kits will enable the flange tank connector to be used with tanks/liners from 0-20mm in thickness.
The Flange Extension Kits come in 4 sizes (lengths)
25mm Kit – for application with thicknesses of 0mm-5mm
30mm Kit – for application with thicknesses of 5mm-10mm
35mm Kit – for application with thicknesses of 10mm-15mm
40mm Kit – for application with thicknesses of 15mm-20mm
The flange extension kits are simple and easy to use; simply assemble the flanged tank connector in the same way. But replacing the self-tapping screws with the bolts and washers and tightening down from the back of the flanged tank connects with the locking nuts supplied.
