110mm/4″ COMPAC Bottom Drain

This COMPAC Bottom Drain has been designed to work in conjunction with 110mm solvent weld pipe (please view our pipe identification chart to find your correct pipe size)

The COMPAC Bottom Drain is suitable for smaller ponds or for multiple inlets/outlets. A standard Bottom Drain has a 90 degree outlet. The COMPAC Bottom Drain uses a vertical outlet from its base, making it ideal to be placed at any height in the pond, from a Bottom Drain to a Surface Skimmer. Easy to install through a pond liner or on a rigid tank using the ring and 4 x Stainless Steel Screws provided.

The COMPAC Bottom Drain will fix to any tank, filter box with stainless steel screw and ring provided allowing for ridged pipe or fittings to be firmly sealed to the tank/filter box like a conventional flanged tank connector.

Do not confuse these with inferior tank connectors. Many inferior products use zinc plated screws and can have adverse effects underwater, especially when salt or chemicals such as formalin and malachite green come into regular contact with such fixings. This will have a negative effect on your pond water quality.

Please Note; that the size stated on the listing refers to the INTERNAL DIAMETER (ID) of the COMPAC Bottom Drain body and what size pipe (OD of pipe)  it will accept.

Always use a non-toxic sealant

Tank/Liner Thickness

The flange tank connector is supplied with self-tapping stainless steel screw, the self-tapping screw can be used with tank/liner thickness of up to 5mm. however if the Tank/Liner you want to join the flange tank connector to, is thicker. The Flange Extension Kit consists of 6 stainless steel bolts, locking nuts, and 12 stainless steel washers. The different kits will enable the flange tank connector to be used with tanks/liners from 0-20mm in thickness (For more information please see our Flanged Tank Connector Extension Kits)
