Filter Grid Support Kit

The filter grid support kit has been designed to suspend either filter grids or multi grids off the bottom of a tank/filter. This is ideal for ensuring static filtration media has a “sludge trap” to make for easy flushing when maintenance/cleaning is carried out.

This kit is also ideal for fluidized/moving beds, this ensures the aerator is situated beneath and not in direct contact with the filtration media. If the grid size needs to be reduced due to using a small media, take a look at the Grid Topper Kit

Also ideal for adding multiple layers of different types of media to single tank/shower

Supplied are 6 flat feet and 6 filter grid feet.

The filter grid feed has a square locater that can be inserted into either filter grid or multi grid, adding strength and rigidity.

The feet will need to be joined via a short piece of 43mmOD (40mm Domestic waste pipe) (note included)
